I’m up for a directing gig and was asked to show how I portray men being skittish. So I present you this very introspective proof-of-concept starring Sean Bury and Clint Gage that we did this afternoon. Shot by James Codeglia.
This is one of my favorite sketches that we’ve done in awhile. Mostly because I love bloody faces.
A heartbreaking tale of war and death and family and we’re pretty sure we don’t know what “heartbreaking” means.

New video!! I finally got to make a tribute to my favorite genre: safety videos that play before theme park rides. We were lucky enough to get the amazing Patrick Warburton (actual host of Disneyland’s Soaring Over California!)
I can’t say enough about what a great job Josh Martin did producing this thing. Also major credit is due to Tony Swansey and Colin Blake, who built the rollercoaster, and James Codeglia (himself a legitimate Disneyland DP), who shot it. And thanks to everybody who hauled out to a strange movie ranch in Malibu to shoot this thing.
So buckle up and enjoy the pre-ride entertainment for everyone’s favorite coaster, Zero Gravity Gulch.

I had such a great time on this shoot. It’s nice to be able to say, “…like that time that we shot Vader in Haunted Mansion.”
